Heidi Happonen

Heidi Happonen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent role was as a Project Manager at Plugit Finland, a position they held from January 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they worked as a Fellow at Sigma Squared Society starting in September 2021.

From October 2020 onwards, Heidi has been the CEO and Co-Founder of Heideq, an equestrian wear brand with a focus on sustainability. In this role, they are responsible for managing operations, marketing, and sales. Heidi is also involved in product development and material sourcing and has designed Heideq's DTC eCommerce site.

Before starting Heideq, Heidi had their own web design and eCommerce project management company called Heidigital. From April 2017 onwards, they worked as an Entrepreneur, managing projects for small businesses to develop their online presence.

In addition, Heidi has experience working in the IT industry. Heidi worked at Keskinäinen Vakuutusyhtiö Turva as an ICT Development Manager from November 2022 to January 2023 and as a Development Manager from November 2021 to November 2022. In these roles, they led mobile app development projects and implemented processes for working with multiple suppliers.

Heidi also worked as a Software Engineer at Smartly.io from May 2021 to October 2021, where they were part of a team building a new creative product. Prior to that, they were a Full Stack Developer at Zoneatlas from February 2020 to March 2021, working on various mobile and web applications.

Heidi's work experience also includes a stint as a Home rider and groom at Team Janika Sprunger in Germany, where they provided care for sport horses and took charge of the stable and horses when the team was away.

Heidi began their career at Keskinäinen Vakuutusyhtiö Turva, where they worked as a Junior Software Specialist from September 2018 to February 2019 and as a Summer Trainee from May 2018 to August 2018.

Heidi Happonen pursued their education in Computer Science at the University of Tampere from 2016 to 2022. No degree name was provided.
