Frances Walton

Frances Walton is the current Executive Director of PA Management Company at Plum Alley. Frances has a long and varied history in finance, starting with Faulhaber & Co. where they worked as a Research Associate from September 1979 to July 1981. From there they moved on to JP Morgan Chase (Chemical Securities), where they were a Senior Vice President from January 1994 to December 1996. After a brief stint at Lebenthal & Co., Frances became the Manager of Cash, Capital and Debt for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from January 1982 to December 1992. In September 1997, Frances took on the role of Chief Financial & Administrative Officer for Empire State Development, where they remained until January 2014. Her most recent position before Plum Alley was CFO for Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation, which they held from February 2014 to December 2015.

Frances Walton completed their high school education at Friends Seminary. Frances then went on to Bard College where they completed their A.B. degree. Finally, they attended Syracuse University - Maxwell School where they earned their Master's Degree in Science and Technology Policy.
