Ray Burton has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Ray began their career in 1995 as a Credit Risk Analyst at GE Capital. In 1997, they moved to J.P. Morgan Chase as VP Marketing. In 2004, they joined MetLife as MetLife Bank, Direct to Consumer Marketing. Ray then moved to E*TRADE Financial as Senior Director, Retail Cash Management in 2005. In 2009, they returned to MetLife as Vice President, where they built and scaled the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) distribution and underwriting channel. Ray also led the Telesales channel, eCommerce team, and launched a number of industry-first innovations. In 2015, they became Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Hawthorne Advisors, LLC. In 2016, they became Leader of the Retiree Middle Market Business at MassMutual. In 2017, they worked in NYC and PHI as a Strategic Business Leader. In 2018, they joined iptiQ by Swiss Re as Head of Business Development. Finally, in 2021, they became Chief Operating Officer at Plum Life.

Ray Burton obtained a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual major in Economics and Finance from the University of South Carolina.
