Marcin Hawraniak

Marcin Hawraniak has a wealth of experience in the tech industry. Marcin started their career at Tieto in 2007 as a Research & Development employee. In 2008, they joined Red Sky sp. z o.o. as a Project Manager and Software Developer. During their time there, they shared knowledge, developed software in PHP/Javascript, and optimized PHP/MySql queries. Marcin also worked as a Software Developer, developing web applications and automating tests. In 2015, they became the CTO of Challengeme Esports GmbH, where they managed a team, found solutions for tech and business problems, and got things done. Most recently, they have been the VP of Engineering at Plum Research S.A. since 2019.

Marcin Hawraniak obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin between 2004 and 2009. Marcin also holds certifications from the OpenJS Foundation (JSNAD: Node.js Application Developer, 2022), CNCF (CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, 2021), The Linux Foundation (Kubernetes for Developers (LFD259), 2021), BNS IT (Technical Leadership, 2019), Product Vision (Product Discovery, 2019), Bottega IT Solutions (Domain Driven Design - designing models of complex domain, 2014), Zend.com (Zend Certified Engineer (PHP 5.5), 2014), Association of Project Management Group (PRINCE2 Foundation, 2011), and LCCI International Qualifications from EDI (Level 3 English for Business (Reading and Writing), 2011; Level 3 English for Business/Commerce Speaking - Pass with Distinction (CEF C1), 2011).
