Ian Hamilton

Ian Hamilton is an experienced sales and business development professional with a career spanning over three decades in the plumbing and heating industry. Currently serving as the Sales and Business Development Manager at Plumbase since December 2006, Ian manages a customer ledger exceeding £5M in turnover and focuses on enhancing sales and margins for key trading accounts. Previous roles include Key Account Manager at both Plumbase and Wolseley, where responsibilities involved increasing sales and developing new business opportunities. Ian's foundation in the industry was established as an Apprentice and then Qualified Plumber at Stormont Plumbing & Heating, combined with a strong sales background from various representative and managerial positions, including Regional Sales Manager at Spaldings Limited. Ian's education was completed at Carnoustie High School.
