Pieter Zijlema

Pieter Zijlema possesses extensive experience in the energy sector and sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as Hoofd laadpalen at Pluq since December 2019, Pieter focuses on investing in charging infrastructure to make electric driving accessible to all. Prior roles include Energy Expert at Poffels Energy, where work revolved around E-mobility and smart charging projects, and Managing Director at PVNED, emphasizing innovation and market access in the electricity domain. Pieter's background also includes significant positions in energy trading and dispatching, as well as involvement with organizations such as Natuurmonumenten, contributing to the preservation of nature in the Netherlands. Pieter holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam, further complemented by international experience with the United Nations.
