Max McCarty is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in application engineering and enterprise architecture. Currently serving as Vice President of Application Engineering at ISACA since November 2019, Max directs product development, IT strategy, and stakeholder engagement while overseeing IT due diligence during mergers. Previous roles include Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture, Principal Software Engineer for Cybersecurity at CMMI Institute, and Senior Technical Consultant at Summa Technologies. Max has contributed to numerous high-impact projects, including the Oracle NetSuite Implementation, and has authored technical courses on Microsoft Azure for Pluralsight. In addition to technical expertise, Max hosts the Lock Me Down podcast, blending technology with narrative storytelling. Max holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Pittsburgh.
