William Coates is a seasoned hardware architect with extensive experience in the technology sector. Beginning a career in research at Schlumberger's Palo Alto Research Lab, William advanced through various roles at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle Corporation, culminating in a position as Principal Hardware Engineer. Since May 2011, William has been contributing expertise as a Hardware Architect at Pluribus Networks. Educationally, William holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, attended from 1982 to 1984 and 1976 to 1980, respectively.
