Marius Ionescu

Marius Ionescu has a diverse work experience in the banking and financial industry. Marius currently holds the position of Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at New Business Dimensions. Prior to this, they founded Pluridio in 2014 and served as its CEO. Marius'srole included developing business strategies, managing sales and development efforts, and ensuring team satisfaction. Before Pluridio, Marius worked at OTP Bank Romania S.A. as the Head of Treasury Sales. Marius also held various roles at BCR, including Head of Corporate Regional Treasury Sales, Head of SME Treasury Sales, and Senior Corporate Sales Dealer. Overall, Marius has extensive experience and expertise in treasury sales and business development.

Marius Ionescu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cybernetics, Statistics, and Economic Informatics from Academia de Studii Economice din București in 2004. Marius then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stock Exchange from the same institution, completing it in 2004. Marius furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in Databases from Academia de Studii Economice din București in 2005. In addition, they obtained various certifications, including the Executive Development Program from HEC Montreal Canada in 2009, the ACI Dealing Certificate in 2008, and the Exotic Derivatives & Structured Products certification in the same year.
