Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Amit started their career at Quark Inc. in 2004 as a Senior Software Engineer working on the Quark Publishing Platform. Amit then moved on to Yahoo! Inc. in 2007 and held various roles such as Software Engineer/Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Principal Software Engineer, working on projects related to web search, social platforms, and conversational agents. In 2017, they joined Plus as the General Manager of PlusDrive and VP of Engineering, where they led the development of the PlusDrive autonomous driving system.

Amit Kumar graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2004. In 2013, they obtained additional certifications in Functional Programming Principles in Scala and Social Network Analysis from Coursera.
