Yefei Peng

Yefei Peng, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the technology industry, starting at Yahoo as a Machine Learning Scientist from 2006 to 2010. Yefei then moved to Google as a Tech Lead until 2014. Subsequently, Yefei joined Uber as Head of Engineering, leading multiple teams and spearheading significant projects until 2019. Yefei then transitioned to Ant Group as the Senior Director Of Engineering, overseeing the digital finance platform department. Currently, Yefei serves as the Vice President of Data at Plus, where they continue to leverage their expertise in managing large-scale projects and teams.

Yefei Peng holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in the fields of Neural Network, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, and Semantic Web. Prior to this, they completed their M.S. at Purdue University and their B.S. at Tsinghua University in 1999. In 2018, they also completed a course at Harvard Business School Online.
