Jan Verbeeten

Jan Verbeeten is an experienced entrepreneur and business leader with a strong background in the retail and food industries. Currently serving as Voorzitter and member of the Ondernemerscommissie, as well as a commissioner at PLUS Retail since April 2020, Jan has also been the owner of PLUS Verbeeten, a family business operating three PLUS supermarkets in southeastern Netherlands since January 2008. In addition, Jan has been involved with Heldro IJsbedrijf as an entrepreneur since March 2016, overseeing a popular ice cream shop and numerous regional sales points. Previously, Jan held a board member position at Ondernemerscoöperatie De Sperwer UA from April 2020 to January 2022. Academic credentials include studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Nyenrode Business University, and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
