Damian Henderson

Damian Henderson has a diverse work experience. Damian started their career in 2006 at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where they served as a Project Management and Planner for government assigned projects. In 2008, they moved to BAE Systems Information Technology and worked as a Project Management Professional, responsible for program management and systems database lifecycle management. In 2012, they joined BAE Systems as an Installation Manager, overseeing IT equipment installations at multiple locations. Damian also served as a Deployed Site Lead, responsible for the overall operation and performance of staff in the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility. In 2013, Damian returned to BAE Systems Information Technology and took on roles such as Western Region Deskside Support Lead and GEOC Operations Officer Lead. In 2015, Damian joined Plus3 IT Systems as a Cloud Engineer, supporting a large federal government agency in implementing a strategy to modernize its global network and enterprise services.

Damian Henderson's education history includes a Master's Degree in Management: Information Technology and Project Management from Colorado Technical University, which they obtained between 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from the University of West Florida from 1995 to 1997. Damian also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Northwest Florida State College, earned from 1993 to 1995. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from the University of Mississippi in 1992.

In terms of certifications, Damian has obtained multiple additional certifications. These include the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, Foundation Level Examination from APMP in December 2015, ITIL Foundations Version 3 from ITIL Certified in January 2010, Project Management Certificate Program from the University of California, Irvine Extension in October 2009, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020, CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in June 2014, Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in August 2010, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services in May 2018.
