Rafay Farooqui

Rafay Farooqui's work experience includes founding and serving as the CEO of +SUBSCRIBE® since 2015. Rafay is currently a Director on the Board of Directors at MDC Holdings Inc. starting from 2022. Before that, they founded and served as the President of CAIS from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they worked at UBS as the Managing Director and Head of Equities, MENA from 2003 to 2009. Rafay also worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. as an Associate and Head of Global Institutional International Salestrading from 1998 to 2003.

Rafay Farooqui completed their primary education at the United Nations International School, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate (I.B.) degree in Economics. Rafay pursued higher education at Columbia College, Columbia University, from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. Later, Rafay attended Columbia Business School from 2006 to 2008, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
