Eli Kohanchi

Eli Kohanchi has extensive experience in software testing and quality engineering. Eli is currently working at Pluto TV as the Senior Director of Software Test Engineering - Back-end, where they have been since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Software Test Engineering - Back-end from 2020 to 2022 and Manager of Software Test Engineering from 2019 to 2020 at Pluto TV.

Before joining Pluto TV, Eli worked at Centerfield Media as the Director of Software Quality Engineering from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they implemented a cost-efficient and scalable test case management tool and introduced standardized test case documentation.

From 2017 to 2018, Eli was the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at AXS, where they managed a team of over 20 Software Quality Engineers and implemented an effective testing process.

Prior to that, they worked at NBCUniversal, Inc. as the Manager of Software Quality Engineering from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they organized the software quality engineering team and implemented standard procedures and processes.

From 2009 to 2013, Eli was the Manager of Software Quality Engineering at Dex One, where they managed a team of 10+ QA Engineers and was responsible for managing the Advertising Network and Consumer Platforms.

Eli's career began at ID Analytics in 2006, where they worked as a QA Engineer & CM, testing transaction processing systems. Eli also worked as an intern at Zementis in 2005.

Throughout their career, Eli has demonstrated expertise in managing teams, implementing efficient testing processes, and improving transparency and visibility in testing.

Eli Kohanchi began their education at Pierce College in 2001, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering Physics. Eli attended Pierce College for two years, until 2003. Later, from 2003 to 2006, Eli enrolled at UC San Diego to further their education. Eli studied Electrical Engineering with a focus on Machine Intelligence during their time at UC San Diego.
