Steve Shotwell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve is currently employed at Pluto TV as a Senior Technical Program Manager, responsible for publishing. Prior to this, they worked at Verizon Media Platform as a Technical Program Manager, managing partnerships with Microsoft and overseeing strategic partnerships with various Verizon groups. Steve also served as a Technical Project Manager at Sony Network Entertainment, leading international teams in developing media management and transfer applications. Before that, Steve held positions at Sony Creative Software, where they managed OEM partnerships and served as a Scrum master for software engineering teams. Steve also worked at Sonic Foundry as an SQA Manager and SQA Engineer, and at the JET Program as a Coordinator of International Relations and Assistant English Teacher.

Steve Shotwell attended the University of Virginia from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Interdisciplinary studies. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: SAFe 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2018, PMI-ACP from the Project Management Institute in May 2018, SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2016, Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in July 2014, and Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in November 2012.
