Vardan Khalatyan

Vardan Khalatyan has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance and testing. Vardan currently works at Pluto TV as a Software Test Engineer since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Advarra as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer from September 2021 to August 2022. Before Advarra, they served as a Quality Control Specialist at ZERØ from February 2019 to November 2021. Vardan also worked at Business Development Group as a QA Trainer from April 2018 to April 2021 and at Optym as a Senior QA Engineer from May 2018 to January 2019. Prior to these roles, they held the position of Software QA Engineer at Workfront from December 2015 to May 2018. Vardan's earlier experience includes working at Sonics, Inc. where they served as a QA Engineer from January 2009 to August 2011 and as a Junior Engineer from June 2008 to December 2008. Moreover, they have extensive experience at Synopsys where they held the positions of Senior SQA Engineer from June 2013 to November 2015 and QA Engineer II from September 2011 to May 2013, performing various manual and automated testing tasks, including GUI testing, creating and updating test plans, and monitoring automated regression and performance test cases.

Vardan Khalatyan earned a Master's degree in Synopsys Armenia Educational Department from Yerevan State University, which they attended from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in RadioPhysics, also from Yerevan State University, from 2005 to 2007. Vardan'sundergraduate studies at the same university began in 2003, where they pursued a BS in Physics until 2005. Additionally, in August 2017, Vardan obtained the SQL Foundation certification from SoloLearn. In February 2017, they also obtained the ISTQB Foundation certification from the ArmSTQB - Armenian Software Testing Qualifications Board.
