Wes Rives

Wes Rives has a diverse work experience in the field of video streaming and operations. Wes began their career as a Director of Technology at Jowdy Photography from November 2010 to December 2011. In March 2012, Wes joined Haivision as a Digital Video Support Engineer, where they handled customer support for Kulabyte encoders and other Haivision products, conducted training sessions, and contributed to software quality assurance. Wes then joined the National Football League in November 2014 as a Video Operations Engineer, responsible for video-related operations. In April 2017, they transitioned to Amazon as a Live Video Ops Engineer, focusing on live video operations. Finally, Wes is currently working at Pluto TV since July 2018, starting as a Video Streaming Operations Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Senior Video Streaming Engineer in September 2021.

Wes Rives completed their high school education at Coppell High School from 2000 to 2004. Wes then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Media Studies with a minor in Film from Texas A&M University from 2007 to 2009.
