Amanda Macleod is an experienced Value Stream Engineer at Ply Gem Canada Inc. since July 2010, focusing on enhancing manufacturing performance through data analysis, metric establishment, process improvements, and employee training. Prior to this role, Amanda served various engineering positions, including Manufacturing Engineering Group and Technical Illustrator at BW Technologies by Honeywell, where responsibilities involved optimizing product manufacture and training personnel. Additional experience includes roles at Med-Eng Systems, Elections Ontario, SMART Technologies, Nortel, and Hi-Tech Assembly Systems, contributing to quality inspection, equipment management, and new product introduction. Amanda holds a B.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Calgary, earned between 1994 and 1999.
