Corporate History After 30 years of working for other carriers, the late Arthur Pliaconis saw a need in the market and developed a clear vision for the industry. In the mid 70's he started his moving and storage company, consisting of a single truck and rented trailer. In 1982 Plycon was incorporated. Today the company, run by his sons David, Dean and Chris, has grown to include 150 trucks and 11 locations coast to coast. Plycon is considered the premiere blanket wrap carrier in the furniture industry. We specialize in high-end furniture, antiques and provides complete logistic solutions for the fine furniture industry.
