James Biere ( Jay)

James (Jay) Biere has over 30 years of work experience in senior living and healthcare industries. James ( Jay) currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Plymouth Place Senior Living since 2018. Prior to that, they were the President/CEO at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Communities where they developed and implemented strategic plans for sales/marketing, capital planning, and senior living operations. James ( Jay) has also held leadership positions at Kisco Senior Living, Lifespace Communities Inc., Vibrant Living, Aramark/ServiceMaster, and ServiceMaster. Their roles included VP of Operations, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and VP for Operations Midwest. James ( Jay) has extensive experience in sales, operations, strategic planning, financial management, and HR leadership.

In 1977-1979, James (Jay) Biere attended Northern Illinois University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree. Their field of study was focused on Business and Personal/Financial Services Marketing Operations.
