Process Engineer at Plymouth Tube Company

Ben Schleich started their work experience in 2004 as an R&D Machinist/Fabricator at Parata Systems, where they ran the R&D department and performed various duties including programming, operating, procurement, and quality control. In 2006, they joined Simon Industries as a CNC Program Engineer, where they received prints and models and turned them into working programs for 9 machines. Ben also ran first article/prototyping and worked in a quick turn facility with short lead times. In 2009, Ben became the Shop Manager/Programmer at Mecha Inc. and held this role until 2011. At Innovative Fabrication, they served as the Machining Operations Manager from 2011 to 2016, spearheading the development of a machining program to enhance the capabilities of a sheet metal shop. Ben handled all aspects of the machining operations. From 2016 to 2017, Ben worked as an Operations Manager, programmer, and more at MCS Machine and Tool, a local machine shop in Durham. Ben is currently working as a Process Engineer at Plymouth Tube Company, starting in 2017.

From 2000 to 2002, Ben Schleich attended DTCC, where they pursued a field of study in Machining Technology. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this period.
