Plywood People
McClaine Wellem has a diverse background in marketing and community management, currently serving as Marketing Project Manager and Community Manager at Plywood People since May 2020. McClaine has contributed to the Love or Work project initiated by the founders of Plywood People. Previous experience includes a role as Creative and Marketing Coordinator at FunnelAmplified from December 2020 to June 2021, and an internship at fab'rik from June 2019 to May 2020. McClaine also worked as a Reporter for the Colonnade Newspaper at Georgia College from January 2019 to May 2020, and served as Program Director at YMCA Camp Highharbour during the summer of 2017, where supervision of over 40 staff and 200 campers took place. McClaine earned a degree from Georgia College & State University, graduating in 2020.

Plywood People
Plywood People is a non-profit in Atlanta building a community of social impact leaders. Since 2010, Plywood People has walked alongside hundreds of people and projects doing good: offering content, curriculum and community to help them launch and sustain. Whatever the term, we have walked alongside over 400 of these special people over the years. Our vision is that those who are solving a problem in our world will plug into the Plywood People community as they launch, scale and sustain their idea.
