PM Society
Chris Finch is an accomplished leader in the digital marketing and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Vice President at Earthware Ltd since June 2010, where accountability for the P&L of an award-winning digital creative agency is a key responsibility. Chris plays an integral role on the Group Leadership Team, devising and executing company strategy while leading a skilled management team and fostering strategic partnerships. Additionally, involvement with the PM Society since June 2018 as a member of the Digital Interest Group highlights commitment to promoting best practices and educational initiatives in healthcare. Previous extensive experience at Schering-Plough includes roles from Multi-Channel Marketing Manager to Regional Sales Manager, where significant contributions were made to marketing strategies and sales team management. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Leeds.
PM Society
The PM Society was established over 40 years ago as a not-for-profit organisation to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and its service agencies. It currently has over 230 UK companies as members, including pharma and biotech companies on the industry side and PR, Advertising, Medical Communications, Digital and many other kinds of service company on the agency side. It is run by a voluntary Executive Committee, and supported by a small office staff. The Executive steers the direction of the Society in conjunction with the wider Committee of industry professionals, and works hard to forge close working relationships with other industry and NHS groups, including the ABPI, HCA and TOPRA, for the benefit of its membership. The Society has Interest Groups aligned to the current challenges and issues facing today’s marketers - Market Access, Digital, Patient Engagement, Industry Agency Relations, Sustainability, and Diversity - these are run by experts in the field, and run alongside the two highly regarded Award schemes – the PM Society Awards and the Digital Awards. The PM Society’s flexible modular training programme is developed by the industry for the industry and addresses the specific training needs for pharmaceutical marketing and associated life sciences disciplines. Courses run throughout the year and are tailored for those new to marketing, anyone needing a refresher and advanced modules for the more experienced marketer.
