Russell Bentz

Russell Bentz serves as the Director of Guidewire Architecture at PMA Companies since September 2025. Previously, Russell held the position of Director, Software Engineering Product Manager at Nationwide Insurance from February 2015 to October 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing a $15 million application development portfolio and managing a significant expansion of the application development team. Prior experience includes leadership roles in Claims IT at Harleysville Insurance and software development at Towers Watson, where Russell focused on technical integration and infrastructure upgrades. Russell began a career as a Programmer Analyst at Central Dauphin School District after completing a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Lebanon Valley College from 2001 to 2005.
