Myles Murray started their work experience in 2006 as a Junior Design Engineer at Erneside Engineering, where they were involved in the design and implementation of building services. Myles then worked as a Junior Regional Project Manager at Flaktwoods, focusing on the design, logistics, and installation of air handling units.
In 2010, Myles worked as an Interim Design Engineer at MEDIC, and in 2011, they provided Mechanical Engineering consultancy to Cork Institute of Technology and other affiliated companies under the Enterprise Ireland Innovation funding program.
Myles also served as a Graduate in the Genesis Enterprise Program in 2011, where they accelerated the early stage development of Irish start-up businesses across various industries.
In 2011, Myles became the Chief Executive Officer at PMD Solutions, a medical device start-up aiming to revolutionize the respiratory monitoring industry and improve patient care.
From 2016, Myles was a Member of the Commercial Working Group at the Irish Medtech Association, focused on promoting and enabling commercialization best practices in the medtech sector.
Starting in 2017, Myles became a Fellow of the NHS Innovation Accelerator, supporting the spread of high-impact, evidence-based innovations across the NHS. This program achieved significant milestones such as 799 NHS providers using their innovations, securing £36.4m in funding, creating 77 jobs, winning 23 awards, and supporting 13 innovations that now sell internationally.
Throughout their career, Myles has shown a strong dedication to the development and promotion of innovative technologies in various healthcare and engineering sectors.
Myles Murray's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Munster Technological University to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Myles completed this program in 2009. Following that, from 2009 to 2011, Myles continued their education at the same university and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree in Mechanical Engineering. A few years later, in 2018, Myles enrolled at Munster Technological University again, this time for a Post Graduate Certificate in Capital Markets. During this program, they focused on various fields of study including Accounting, Business Information Systems, and Business. This phase of their education concluded in 2019.
