Deborah Bahnsen

Deborah Bahnsen has a diverse and extensive work experience in strategic management, compliance, and regulatory affairs. Deborah is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy and Compliance at Professional Management Enterprises (PME). Prior to that, Deborah held leadership positions at Anthem, Inc., where they served as the Director of Strategic Vendor Management and Director of Compliance. Deborah also worked at Amerigroup Corporation as the Associate Vice President of Business Ethics and Plan Compliance Officer. Additionally, Deborah has experience running their own consulting firm, Deborah Bahnsen, LLC, specializing in regulatory and compliance consulting for insurance companies and managed care plans. Deborah has also worked in legislative consulting and served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at the Ohio Association of Health Plans. Deborah's early career involved serving as Staff Counsel at the Ohio State Medical Association, where they provided legal analysis and counseling on healthcare legislation and regulations. Throughout their career, Deborah has demonstrated expertise in driving compliance, managing diverse supplier commitments, and advocating for regulatory and legislative priorities in the healthcare industry.

Deborah Bahnsen obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from The Ohio State University in the years 1976 to 1981. Following this, they pursued their higher education at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree between 1981 and 1984.
