Diego Castro Menéndez-Castañedo

Diego Castro Menéndez-Castañedo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the engineering and management sectors, particularly within the automotive industry. As the Global Director of Powertrain Engineering and R&D at PMG - Powder Metal Goldschmidt since 2004, Diego leads worldwide projects and quality initiatives while overseeing the development of the manual transmissions business unit. Previously, Diego held various director-level positions in sales, marketing, and R&D across Europe, providing strategic vision and managing engineering projects globally. Diego's earlier roles include Product Manager at Sinterstahl Füssen and Production Manager at Sinterstahl Asturias S.A., where responsibilities included product process definition and production line management.
