Joe Kunzer

Joe Kunzer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joe is currently working as an Information Technology Project Manager at Walgreens Boots Alliance, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Logistics at PMI Chicagoland Chapter from 2019 onwards. From 2017 to 2022, Joe worked as an IT Project Manager at Randstad Technologies US.

Their experience also includes roles at Coriant, Inc., where they served as an IT Staff Project Manager in the IT Global Program Management Office from 2013 to 2017. During their time at Coriant, they successfully managed multiple global projects and implemented various system improvements.

Joe Kunzer, PMP, MPM, CSM, LSSGB, DASM holds a Master's degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which was earned from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they completed their undergraduate studies at Elmhurst University from 1987 to 1993, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Information Systems. Before that, they attended College of DuPage from 1987 to 1990, achieving an Associate General Studies (AGS) degree with a focus on Information Systems. Joe has also obtained various certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2018 and ITIL Foundation from APM in April 2017. In 2017, they completed courses on Agile team-building and change management through LinkedIn. Furthermore, they are set to become a Chapter Leader in the Project Management Institute in 2023.
