PMI Hampton Roads Chapter
Chuck Williams MBA, PMP, CISSP, GSLC, CSSLP, MCSE, CRISC, CDPSE serves as the Deputy Director of Information Technology and Chief Technology Officer for the City of Chesapeake since November 2015, where significant contributions include transitioning departmental functionality to enhance city-wide collaboration. With an extensive background in IT leadership, including acting roles as Chief Information Officer, Chuck has a strong focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations and disaster response planning. Prior experience encompasses project management consultancy for Gannett, establishing a PMO at InMotion Hosting, and directing IT initiatives for WHRO and Compass Technology. Academically, Chuck holds an MBA in Project Management and multiple certifications in information technology and cybersecurity. Community involvement includes volunteer leadership roles with Chesapeake NetGuard and the PMI Hampton Roads Chapter.
