Previously, Joel held the position of Planning Manager at Rosneft / Petrolera RN Ltd. / Petrolera (Cyprus) Ltd. from July 2013 to November 2020, managing planning and performance processes for a Venezuelan Joint Venture. Additional experience includes roles at PetroSaudi as a Business Development professional, a Business Development Consultant independently, and as the Economic Valuation Team Lead at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. Joel's educational background includes a Project Management Diploma and Management Certificate from UWinnipeg PACE, a Mergers and Acquisitions Program from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master's in Development Economics from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Mount Allison University.
