George Thambi P.Eng, M.Eng, PMP, MBA is an experienced engineering and project management professional currently serving as the President and President Elect of PMI New Brunswick and as a Senior Project Manager for the Government of New Brunswick since July 2023. With a diverse career, George has held key roles such as Director at Huntt Canada and Geotechnical Engineer at Fundy Engineering, in addition to previous positions as Project Manager at Hardware Specialty Ltd and Senior Associate Vice President at Darashaw & Co. Pvt. Ltd. Educational credentials include an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, a M.Eng in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor, and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University. George has demonstrated expertise in project execution, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership throughout a robust career spanning over a decade in various engineering and consultancy capacities.
