Doug Newcomb

Doug Newcomb, PMP, CSM has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Doug has held various roles in different companies. Doug started their career as a Software Engineer at Vetronix Corporation in 1995 and worked there until 1998. Doug then joined Symitar as an Application Developer for a year. In 1999, they returned to Vetronix Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2004, they transitioned to Vetronix ETAS Group, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 2005. Doug then joined Quilogy as a Web Development Consultant for a brief period before moving to Revenue Solutions, Inc. In 2006, they joined Revenue Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Software Development Manager, where they worked for 12 years until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance at PMI-Sacramento Valley Chapter since 2018.

Doug Newcomb, PMP, CSM holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a specialization in Earth Sciences from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 1989 to 1994. In addition to their education, they have obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2018, and the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2018.
