Humberto Arias

Humberto Arias is currently the VP of Membership at PMI South Florida Chapter. Prior to that, they were a Program Manager at Converlogic from August 2020 to February 2022. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Converlogic from September 2019 to August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at WERO Zero Waste. Before that, they worked as a Big Data Consultant at Prudential Management Firm from April 2018 to September 2018 where they were an Microsoft Power BI advocate to implement data analytics solutions within PMF, defined data warehouse scheme and deployment base on forecasted data growth, drove a data mindset among IT department team members, and seeded the path toward a data-based decision a report delivery for upper management to deliver meaningful insights and KPI for the micro-loan business unit. Humberto also mentored IT members and IT managers toward an ETL-way-of-thinking. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Belize Telemedia Limited from December 2017 to May 2019. Before that, they were Network Performance Manager at Huawei Technologies from November 2016 to November 2017. And before that, they were Operation & Network Leader at Millicom (Tigo) from June 2015 to October 2016.

Humberto Arias has a degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela, a Master's degree in management from Universidad Simón Bolívar, and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Humberto also has a certificate in disruptive strategy from Harvard Business School Online and a diploma in LTE & Advanced Communications from University of Derby Online Learning.
