Shivendra Bajpayee

Shivendra Bajpayee is the current Vice President of Marketing at the PMI South Florida Chapter. Shivendra has extensive experience in program management, having worked at Walmart from January 2012 to December 2016. In their previous role as Program Manager, they were responsible for the delivery of multiple programs and projects using agile principles for Walmart US, Walmart Digital, Sam’s Clubs, and International with multiple global resources.

During their time at Walmart, Shivendra led a team transformation to adopt agile principles in order to deliver faster and smaller increments of user stories, features, and epics with mobile, digital, and cloud-based innovative solutions. Shivendra was also responsible for championing the implementation of a new bulk upload capability that utilized a disruptive technology service integrator model, which resulted in $0.5B in cost savings.

In addition, Shivendra established and maintained vendor partnerships with a $25M budget annually while meeting key targets with only 90% of spent budget. Shivendra also led the streamlining of new Walmart and third-party data reporting initiative that improved digital marketing spend measurements, resulting in $9B of incremental sales annually.

Finally, Shivendra launched the new mobile payment system, Walmart Pay (Digital Wallet), for e-commerce, which provided more analytics data and resulted in improved sales and reduced transaction cost. Shivendra also spearheaded a new budget allocation process at the program level that resulted in inventory savings of $19M annually.

Shivendra Bajpayee has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from University of Detroit Mercy, a Master of Science - MS from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Science - BS from National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. Shivendra is certified from LinkedIn in Communicating with Empathy and Leaders: Make Your Teams More Agile, Creative, and United. Shivendra is also certified from Scrum Alliance in Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and from Walmart in IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL). Finally, they are certified from Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional.
