Catherine Stones

Catherine Stones, MBA, CAPM, currently serves as a Planning Strategist for the City of Calgary since September 2024 and as Associate Vice-President of Professional Development at PMI Southern Alberta Chapter since February 2024. Previously, Catherine held various roles including MBA Creative Destruction Lab Consultant at 3Bar Biologics, where operational analysis and financial modeling were conducted, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Haskayne School of Business, focusing on Excel business analytics tutorials. Catherine's extensive experience with the City of Calgary includes positions such as Specialist, Partnership Coordinator, and Community Coordinator, where project management, partnership facilitation, and strategic planning were key responsibilities. Additionally, Catherine has served as General Manager of Mid-Sun Community Association and Executive Director of Calgary Area Outdoor Council. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Haskayne School of Business and a Bachelor of Recreation Management & Community Development from University of Manitoba.
