Robert Downey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and BIM management. Currently serving as BIM Manager and Mechanical Designer at PML Professional Mechanical Ltd. since January 2020, Robert contributes significantly to the company's projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) from June 2016 to May 2017, where involvement in the Vehicle Concept Centre team led to the design of a new Urban Modular Vehicle (UMV) for Mercedes, showcased at the IAA New Mobility World. Robert obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick from 2014 to 2018.
