William Parsley

COO at PNC

E William Parsley is executive vice president and chief operating officer for The PNC Financial Services Group.

He oversees asset and liability management, capital and liquidity strategy, and regulatory stress testing. In addition, he heads PNC's retail lending businesses, including oversight of all mortgage banking activities, credit cards and consumer lending, and the company’s asset resolution efforts.

Parsley serves on the board of directors of PNC Bank N.A., is the chairman of PNC Capital Markets, Inc., with responsibility for the firm’s institutional broker dealer activities, and is chairman of PNC Investment Corporation, Inc., managing the firm’s alternative investments.

Prior to being named to his current position in February 2018, Parsley served as treasurer and chief investment officer.

Parsley joined PNC in 2003 from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he was head of its Global Derivative books and co-head of the North American Interest Rate Trading Group. In addition, he held other market-related positions at JPMorgan Chase and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with specific expertise in managing credit, interest rate and currency risks.

He is active in youth-oriented athletic, developmental and educational programs. Parsley serves on the board of directors of the Foundation to Be Named Later, the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires, the Town of Lenox Scholarship Committee and Boston College Parent's Leadership Council.

Parsley graduated summa cum laude from Boston College School of Management with a degree in finance and computer science.
