Dr. Jan Messer

Dr. Jan Messer has worked as the Managing Director at WKN GmbH since June 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at PNE AG, where they held the positions of Head of Legal and Compliance and Head of Legal from January 2014 onwards. Before joining PNE AG, Dr. Messer worked as a Rechtsanwalt/Lawyer at CMS Hasche Sigle from April 2009 to January 2014. Dr. Jan also served as a Rechtsreferendar/Legal Clerkship at OLG Bremen from July 2007 to December 2009 and as a Teaching Assistant in Zivilrecht at the University of Bremen from August 2007 to December 2008.

Dr. Jan Messer completed an Executive MBA from ESMT Berlin between the years 2020 and 2022. Dr. Jan also obtained a PhD, known as Promotion, from The University of Göttingen in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Staatsexamen in Jurastudium, allgemein (general law) from the same university. Additionally, Dr. Messer earned a Magister Legum Europae degree in Law from Université catholique de Louvain.
