Matthew Chau, CPA, CGA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Matthew started their career at Ultrasonix Medical Corporation as an Accounting Assistant in August 2007. Matthew then joined PNI Digital Media Ltd in December 2007 as a Financial Accountant and later worked their way up to Assistant Controller in December 2011. Matthew's responsibilities at PNI Digital Media included completing monthly financial statements, providing KPI and sales reports, working with the parent company on accounting and legal matters, and completing the company's annual budget. In July 2017, they were promoted to Controller where they supervised the financial department, provided leadership and mentorship to their team, and prepared ad hoc reports for the leadership team. In January 2019, Matthew transitioned to the role of Director of Finance at PNI Digital Media and currently holds that position.

Matthew Chau, CPA, CGA has a comprehensive and diverse educational background in the field of accounting and economics. Matthew began their studies in 2002 at Capilano University, where they completed a University Transfer Program. In 2004, they continued their education at The University of British Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics in 2006. In order to specialize further in their desired field, Matthew pursued a Diploma of Accounting Program at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they completed their educational journey at Certified General Accountants from 2008 to 2016, obtaining certification as a CPA, CGA in Accounting.
