George R. Nail, P.E. has extensive experience in the energy sector, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Principal Engineer in Integrated Resource Planning at Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) since July 1997, George also holds the title of Professional Engineer and specializes as a Transmission Planning Engineer. Prior to PNM, George worked as a Planning Engineer at Plains Electric Generation and Transmission Cooperative from May 1993 to July 1997. Educationally, George obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a focus on Electrical Utility Management from New Mexico State University, where studies were completed between 1991 and 1993, following a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a concentration in Power from the same institution, earned from 1987 to 1991.
