Grant Laversuch

Grant Laversuch is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as the Head of Group Safety and Designated Person Ashore at P&O Ferries since April 2013. Prior to this role, Grant held the position of Deputy Chair of the Standard Club Loss Committee at The Standard P&I Club from October 2017 to October 2023. With a career spanning over three decades in the cruise and maritime industries, previous roles include Operations Director at SAGA CRUISES LIMITED and various positions at Cunard Line, including Port & Marine Manager and First Officer aboard the QE2. Grant began the maritime journey as a Deck Cadet and Third Officer at Ocean Fleets and furthered expertise with a Master Mariner degree from Liverpool John Moores University.
