David Roberts.

David Roberts is a seasoned professional in the maritime and oil and gas industries, currently serving as the Head of Commercial Operations at GE Offshore Marine Services since September 2014. In this role, David provides commercial and operational solutions in Equatorial Guinea, including joint ventures for in-country support. David also holds a concurrent position as Contract Manager at P&O Maritime, overseeing terminal towage and offshore platform support operations. Previous experience includes managing contract operations for Smit Lamnalco at the Al Shihr oil exporting terminal in Yemen, as well as serving as Superintendent and Commercial Vessel Manager at Osprey Shipping. David has also founded a crew supply company and worked as a marine engineer for Holyhead Towing. Academically, David holds a higher national certificate in marine and mechanical engineering from South Tyneside Nautical College and has additional maritime education from Indefatigable, Bimco, and Lloyd's Maritime Academy.
