Bruno Abbad

Bruno Abbad is a skilled Data Engineer with extensive experience in data migration and pipeline development. Currently working at Poatek, Bruno is involved in a project to transition ETL SAS on-premise pipelines to AWS using Spark and Scala, orchestrated with Airflow. Previously at Capgemini, Bruno developed a monthly ETL pipeline in Hive with PySpark, processing over 16 million rows of box office data to assist in strategic decision-making. At DigiFarmz Smart Agriculture, Bruno engineered Airflow ETL pipelines and played a pivotal role in enhancing machine learning models for agricultural disease prediction. Early career experience includes working as a Data Analyst at Dufrio, where Bruno built ETL data pipelines and created dynamic Power BI dashboards. Bruno holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
