Sheldon Brow has a long and varied work experience. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Server/Bartender at Murphy's Restaurant, LLC and as an Audit Manager at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Senior Audit Manager at the Citadel Halifax Hotel. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at CIBC as a National E-Mortgage Specialist and a Small Business Advisor. From 2015 to 2016, they were Specialized & Investment Lending - Atlantic Canada at BMO Financial Group. In 2020, they founded Pocket Finance, a finance navigation and education mobile app. In 2016, they became Managing Partner at Gemba Finance, where they work to bring a fisherman's heart into banking, brokering, and advisory.

Sheldon Brow obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC between 2004 and 2006. Sheldon has since obtained four additional certifications from Coursera, including Harvard University - Justice (April 2020), University of Virginia - New Models of Business in Society (April 2020), University of Cape Town - Building Fintech VC Startups in Emerging Markets (with Honors) (February 2020), and Duke University - Behavioral Finance (January 2020).
