Anthony Battaglia has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Anthony founded and served as the CEO of Pocket Nurse, a nurse-owned company that sells medical supplies and equipment to healthcare educators and medical simulation labs globally. Additionally, they also worked as a Medical ICU Nurse at Allegheny General Hospital for a period of 11 years.

Anthony Battaglia has a diverse education history. In 1989 to 1991, they attended the Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing, where they obtained their RN degree in Registered Nursing. From 1991 to 1993, they attended LaRoche College and earned their BSN degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. In 1999 to 2000, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Training and Development at Carlow University. Lastly, in 2004 to 2005, they attended the University of Pittsburgh to obtain a Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
