Curtis Martin is a Principal Software Engineer and Mobile Lead at Pocket Prep. Curtis has over 9 years of experience in the mobile development industry. Curtis has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.

Curtis began their career as a Java Developer at Healthport LLC in 2007. Curtis then became a Quality Assurance Manager at iTekka, Inc. in 2009. In 2011, they joined Atlantic BT as a Mobile Application Developer and Team Lead. There, they wrote native Android and iOS apps, oversaw members of the mobile team, and worked with the UX team to co-design effective and intuitive applications. Curtis left Atlantic BT in 2014 to join Two Toasters as a Senior Android Developer.

In 2015, Curtis joined Ticketmaster Mobile Studio as a Senior Mobile Engineer for their Android team. Curtis then left Ticketmaster in 2016 to join TransLoc as a Staff Android Engineer. At TransLoc, Curtis developed products that consumed web services and integrated with third-party frameworks. Curtis also communicated extensively with clients throughout project lifecycles. Curtis left TransLoc in 2020 to join Pocket Prep as their Principal Software Engineer and Mobile Lead.

Curtis Martin began their educational career by obtaining a BS in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina. Curtis then went on to obtain a second BS in Computer Science from Clemson University.

They work with Maria Soboleva - IOS Developer, Robby Helms - Senior Software Engineer, Web Lead. Curtis Martin reports to Rob Witman, CTO.
