Michelle Lewis has worked in a variety of roles in the media and journalism industry since 2009. Michelle began their career as a Consultant and Head of Accreditation for the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Writer for Archant and The Hotel Culture, and as a Copy Editor and Writer for News Deeply and Fast Company. In 2012, they were the Director of Communications for MycroBurst.com and the Copy Chief for Avaaz. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Sub Editor for The Guardian and a Freelance Writer for Pocket. In 2019, they began their current role as a Writer for Electrek.co, where they write news articles about green energy, climate change, and electric vehicles and ensures each story is SEO-friendly.

Michelle Lewis has a Master of Arts in Modern Cultural History from the University of York and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers University.
