Gareth Pennington

Gareth Pennington has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and leadership roles. Gareth is currently the Vice President of Engineering at PocketHealth, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Gareth was a Senior Engineering Manager at Instacart from June 2020 to November 2022. Gareth also served as the Director of Product Engineering at OSRAM from November 2016 to June 2020. Gareth has held various senior positions at Autodesk as a Senior Software Development Manager from July 2013 to October 2016. Gareth worked at Logitech as a Manager of Mobile & Embedded Applications from March 2011 to June 2013 and as a Senior Engineer and Team Lead from September 2006 to March 2011. Before that, Gareth was a Senior Engineer and Team Lead at TransUnion from March 2003 to August 2006. Gareth started their career as a Team Lead at the City of Hamilton in September 2001 and then worked as a Software Developer and Team Lead at Hamilton Public Library from May 2000 to September 2001.

Gareth Pennington attended York University from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Philosophy & Psychology. From 1997 to 2000, they pursued Computer Science at Sheridan College.
