Al Sambar

Al Sambar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in retail and investment management. As a General Partner at XRC Ventures since October 2020, Al manages investments through the Opportunity and Brand Capital Funds. Al holds board member and strategic advisory roles at Fillogic and Recurate, respectively, and co-founded DECK of DICE Gaming, Inc. Al also serves as Managing Member at RiseFund LLC and General Partner at Heartland Capital Partners, focusing on investment management. Prior experience includes a 26-year tenure at Kurt Salmon, part of Accenture Strategy, where Al held multiple leadership positions, including Managing Director of Retail Digital & Innovation Strategy. Al's career began as a Naval Officer in the US Navy, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Naval Academy.
